The Lodge At River Valley Farm

Welcome to The Lodge at River Valley Farm, a unique wedding venue located in the heart of Yorktown, Indiana. Nestled on fifty acres of farm fields and woods, our venue offers a perfect blend of rural charm and modern elegance. Originally a working farm for descendants of the Ball family in the 1940s, The Lodge has been thoughtfully restored to provide a private sanctuary for your dream wedding.

Our venue boasts 5,000 square feet of total air-conditioned and heated space, ensuring that your guests are comfortable year-round. As you approach The Lodge, you'll be greeted by three oversized spouting boulders and ample seating, making it the perfect spot for guests to relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.

Inside, The Lodge offers three distinct areas that flow seamlessly into one openly planned floor space. The reception room, located just past the French entrance doors, is the perfect place to welcome your guests. From there, you'll enter the open dance area/multi-purpose room, featuring hand-hewn beams from 1851 wrapped in twinkle lights and flowing fabric. This room also leads to indoor restrooms for both men and women, each with three stalls.

Finally, you'll enter the 2,500 square foot dining area, which boasts a massive stone fireplace and beautiful hand-crafted mantel. Two doors on each side of the fireplace lead to a bench-lined covered porch, offering stunning views of the surrounding farm fields and woods.

In addition to The Lodge, our property also features a beautifully restored farmhouse from the 1850s. This farmhouse has been updated with modern amenities to fit in with a busy bride's day of readiness. Located just a mere sidewalk away from The Lodge, the farmhouse is the perfect setting for a peaceful night's sleep before the big day.

Our Services

The Lounge on Isanogel

In addition to The Lodge, we also offer a separate event space called The Lounge on Isanogel. Located just east of our Loft event barn, The Lounge is the perfect place for your rehearsal dinner or other intimate event. The Lounge can host up to 100 cocktail reception or 80 sit-down reception, and we offer low-cost tablecloth rentals to help you create the perfect look.
